Privacy policy
This policy describes q-gog-cli, a personal desktop OAuth app operated by Kyu Park using the gog command-line tool, and this informational website. Contact: park@kyu.co.
Data accessed and why
The app uses Google OAuth to authorize access to accounts and YouTube channels controlled by its owner. Account identity information, including an email address and Google account identifier, identifies the authorized account. OAuth tokens allow the desktop workflow to access the APIs without collecting a Google password.
The workflow uses YouTube channel and video information and YouTube Analytics reporting data to produce personal exports and reports. The permissions requested by the desktop workflow include:
openidanduserinfo.email— account identification.youtube.readonly— read YouTube account information.yt-analytics.readonly— read YouTube Analytics reports.youtubeandyoutube.force-ssl— broader YouTube management permissions, which can permit changes to YouTube content. These are broader than the reporting workflow alone requires.
The Google authorization screen shows the permissions requested when you connect an account.
Storage, use, and sharing
OAuth credentials and exports are stored on devices or storage controlled by the owner. They are used for the owner’s personal YouTube workflow. They are not sold, used for advertising, or shared with outside services, including AI services. Google and YouTube receive the API requests needed to provide the service.
Access revocation and deletion
You can revoke authorization at any time through Google Account connections. Revoking access prevents further authorized retrieval but does not itself remove previously exported files.
The owner controls the retention and deletion of stored credentials and exports. To request deletion of app-held data, or ask about a particular export or backup, contact park@kyu.co. Deleting local app data does not delete the original data held by YouTube; manage that data through YouTube.
This website
This is a static information site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no sign-in form, advertising, embedded media, or analytics scripts. It does not receive the desktop app’s OAuth tokens or YouTube exports. Cloudflare may process connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to serve and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Google and YouTube
The app uses YouTube API Services. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of the app is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
